brian-trackChildhood:

I was born in Yankton, SD in March of 1980.  After several moves, my family settled in Brainerd, MN.  I was involved with band, choir, cross country running, cross country skiing and track and my church youth group.  I graduated from High School in 1998.

College:

confoti-26From High School is was on to college at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND where I graduated with a degree in computer science. While in college, I was involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and the Gold Star Band.

Work:

Upon graduation, I applied for work with InterVarsity, and then spent a year interning with InterVarsity in Bemidji, MN where I met my future wife.  I worked two years as the campus staff for the InterVarsity Chapter at the University Minnesota Duluth before getting married to my wife and moving back to Bemidji to work once again with the Bemidji State InterVarsity chapter.  In 2008 I took my current job as the Area Director of InterVarsity in Northern, MN.  I recruit and empower staff to work with the students on Colleges and Universities all over Northern MN.

Family:
In 2005, I had the honor of marrying my best friend, Sandi.  We have two children 22 months apart.  They each take up more and more of our time, but it is good and fun.  Some of the things I enjoy most are programming, photography, running.  My wife and I are avid baseball fans, but any sport is fun to participate in or watch.
