Eye Glasses

Well, today at approximately 16:45 (4:45pm) i received my glasses from the clinic. It’s kind of exciting. I’ve been wearing them since, and it’s kind of strange. However, it is really nice to be able to see depth again! That was really quick. I had my eye appointment yesterday, and got my glasses today! I am very happy.

Foreign Food

After all night prayer, Eric and I were invited over to Jiang’s apartment to enjoy some chinese food. He cooked us a lot of food, and we ate the whole meal with chop sticks. It was fun. In china, everybody eats off the same plates. That was new to me. All in all, it was fun learning expirience (and excellent food)

All Night Prayer

We had all night prayer on friday night, and it was pretty cool. We started the night with worship, and confession, then we moved into a retreat of silence. Finally we finished with 4 hours of prayer stations at which we prayed for different aspects of our community, and life. It was awesome!

The River

Darrell Scott from Columbine, CO came and spoke at the river last night. The Bensten Bunker Field House was packed! People were standing, because there was no room to sit. He had a powerful story about how we as Christians make a difference in this world through simply reaching out to those around us through acts of kindness. It was pretty awesome. I’m excited to see where God leads us now.
